my new evo-x

Ok so there was a mix up on which car i was suppose to kit. I asked for a non-handling package (eibach springs, struts, 2piece rotors) and they almost gave me one but the dealership they were getting it front had this one there was well. So this one is mine and is being transferd to the dealership i been dealing with today. Its getting 3m taped and ill be picking it up on friday.

2011 PB Evo-X GSR

So is this a different version then the normal GSR or is the rims a different option?

Also the dealership giving it up is pissed, they didnt want the other dealership to get it. Also the guy there today told me it has a boost controller and pushing 45psi of boost. I asked for the paperwork and he said they didnt have it...so i called bs on him. Car has 45km on it...cant wait until friday

Sounds like the dealer couldn't find it's own *** hole with a Thomas Guide. There is no way it's boosting 45 psi. The stock dv can only handle about 25 psi. The car would have to be fully built. It's probably a trade that came in with parts on it. It is a nice car though. The only difference between the base GSR and the SSS GSR is the hid's,big wing, and sound system. There is only one type of GSR aside from getting the aero kit and a few other options.

i thought that same thing about the wing. But there is no previous owners. And im not sure how much it was for the 3m, my gf told them to include it when she was there awhile i was away with the army. I think its around $1500. All i know is my payments jumped $42 a month for the 3m and the Smart Program (they will fix dents and scratches for the first 3 years)

dude i think you should get all straight with the dealer because something is kind of fishy!!!!

1- what dealer goes on and sell a ''new'' car and say its new with aftermarket rims.... those are rota p-45 and you can get them on ebay as cheap as 700 for the set....

2- all 2011 gar come with the big wing... and for some reason yours is the small lancer type.....

3- and then they say the car is pushing 45 psi ....that is straight ''bs'' big time....

I would definitively not do business with people that don't do things properly..... I'm just saying sooner or later your get your evo x but people out there look for their best interest not for yours....

the only way I would buy this car if it was me ... if it was priced way under the real value of the car....

good luck men.... i'm not trying to say nothing bad to you its just that i already went through a similar experience in the past because i was blind and in love with the car i was about to purchase that i didn't see ...... the flags!!

Oh I see 45 kilometers... lol I thought you meant 45k miles haha!

wow an extra 45 bucks for $1,500 financed? mine down $20 per every 1k added to the down payment... then again, it depends on your APR I guess

You could have probably done it cheaper, around the price I'm paying now. $1,200 full front, and you don't have to worry about residual interest on that extra cash for years to come... but sometimes you rather add stuff to the loan and just forget about coming up with the cash for it later lol I've been there

It looks awesome though, congrats and welcome to the club!

the high spoiler only applies to the US. This is a Canadian spec base model GSR w/o the handling package. Unfortunately, our GSR's here are bare bones and can't be had with HID's. I find it interesting that they put rims and and boost controller on it from the dealership. How much did you pay for it?

So the small wing came with the car? I know that dealership likes switching parts on other cars....they are taking the cloth seats out of the other gsr and switching them for the leather in the MR for some douche. Now the GSR will have leather up front and cloth in the back. So it wouldnt surprise me if they took the big wing off to put it on something else...either way i like the small wing better.

Not sure what to say about the rims...they told me they put them on. As for the boost....the guy was straight up bull****ting...iiunno why since he isnt making a cent..the car is going to the other dealership that i been dealing with for the final sale (picking it up tomorrow instead of friday).

They were asking $45,000cdn...i got it for $43,000.

Also to Jazket, the $45 a month increase wasnt just the tape, it was the smart program as well.

Just a suggestion, I would ask for the oem wheels as well for the price they're asking then at least youll have a set for your snow tires instead of spending more when winter comes unless you are not planning to drive it in the winter

I don't know the cost of evos in canada but I would demand OEM rims on that car and tell them to keep the aftermarket rims (rotas).

OEMs are like $3k or something new.
Rotas are like $1k new. And they are probably charging you more cause it is aftermarket...
