It's a tight fit but a Specialized Hardrock Sport just barely fits in the back seat if I remove the front wheel. Throwing in a blanket that I don't care about makes it low risk for the interior, somehow I could never bring myself to use a bike rack or hitch rack on an Evo.

I have a Yakima trunk mount and I have an SSS wing and I am able to carry two bikes without an issue. The handle bars on my bikes do rub the wing a little but have not caused any damage. I have no issue with this setup.

last car had a trunk rack, PITA and messes up the paint a lil. Not good in the twisties heading up to the trails either. First week I had the EVO, my 59cm road BARELY fit, had about 1inch of give. The 29er MTB was even a tighter fit with the wider bars. Roof rack is the only way to go, don't have to take it off like a trunk or hitch, nor will you find a hitch for a EVO X unless custom. I can carry 3 bikes on top w/o any problems, front wheels takes up a spot in the back seat so no need for a 4th tray. I ride 3-6 days a week so I use my rack ALLOT and love it. Downside is MPG but hey we got EVOs so MPG sucks anyways or you're not driving it right

I know this is on a lancer but for those who have the regular wing or no wing this will give u an idea of what works. I am also pretty sure that with the tall wing this rack would also work.

I had a picture of the rack holding 2 heavy mountain bikes but I dont know where it went.

Bike rack is Hollywood Baja 2 rack. I have been using this setup for quite sometime now with 0 issues.

The blue painters tape was removed and replaced with custom kit 3m clear bra (bought a portion of a roll of it online). Without the clear bra I dont even want to know what our fabulous paint would look like after using this rack .

I wound up picking up the Yakima Q Tower system. Mainly because besides transporting bikes, I want to be able to throw some snowboards on it in the winter. You can't put boards on trunk rack, can you? Well, you def can't put a kayak on a trunk (which I also do occasionally)

I got the Q Towers, Q clips, crossbars, 6 SKS locks, and the Raptor Aero bike mount.

Direct from Yakima they wanted $630 including shipping. But I took the part numbers and plugged them into Amazon and got the same setup (including shipping) for $522

I got my setup from ORS racks, was $400 for the set including 2 bike trays, added one more tray, wind screen, got free shipping and 10% off. Was under 500 for the entire thing.

Nice! For Yakima or did you go Thule? And if Yakima, which bike trays? I think they have 3 different ones

I just priced out what I ordered from Amazon, and they want $485 for the same set up. Too bad I hadn't heard of ORS before I ordered... Although buying from Amazon, I was able to use some AMEX points so it was even less out of pocket for me. And even with standard shipping, I got everything in 2 days...

went Yakima and Copperhead trays. Holds both roadies and MTB w/ disc brakes fine. I got the bundle kit with 2 trays and 6 locks then add flaring and 3rd tray. I always have 2 trays on, the 3rd is put on only for planned trips to races/mt road trips. 29er and roadie wheel won't really fit in the trunk nor do I want to force the issue. Backseat is fine for it, I don't want any more drag up on top then needed. I carved canyons at good speeds w/ 3 MTB on top so they make some good stuff.

You'll be happy with the setup, I love mine and wouldn't ever take it off.
