i just bought a 2008 evo mr with 8,300 on it for 29,500. do you guys think thats a good buy? i feel happy with the buy and love the car, however some times i look at the threads in some of the forums and wounder if i paid to much. the car came with an hks bov( i removed it as it was not reserc) hks legacy exhaust (axle back) hks intercooler pipes, tein ss springs, hid tale lights( not on car and for sale) upgraded stereo( touch screen, very nice!) and all the oem parts. also the care has the areo kit as well. the car is just like new and runs awesome!

what do you guys think?

 

To late to worry about that now. Just drive the car and enjoy it. Doesn't seem like too bad of a price for such low mileage. There are always going to be better deals out there, it just a matter of how patient you are willing to be!

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Like said above, there might be better deals out there if you are willing to wait and search all over the place but it doesn't sound like you did bad at all. Just go out and drive it and enjoy it and you wont worry about the money anymore.

If your happy about it then thats it. I paid the sticker for mine and got 1.9% on it. Some might say thats not a good deal, but i really dont care they're not the ones driving it. So if you feel good about the deal then enjoy the car and stop worrying about if everybody else thinks its a good deal.

Nice car though, but i never really like the MRs with the wing.

 

lowest mileage i have seen on a 2008 MR is a guy from vegas and he is selling if for 31500 with only 2005 miles, PB as well.

was your 29500 OTD? if it is i would say its a pretty good deal but i gotta agree with some of the posts already made here. first you bought it already and 2 as long as you are happy with it then that is all that matters.

 

ya, im not a wing guy myself, think itll be one of the first things i get rid of after it gits a tune and mid pipe. also it was a pp buy. couldnt find one in cali for that price from a dealer with such low miles. also anyone know a good tuner near Chico California? thinking about going to works, i had a XIII with the works tr-340 pack on it and loved the car, i put 60,000 miles on the car and never had a problem. the car always pulled hard and never had a problem.

 

yea dont worry about the price if you've already purchased it, rather looking back and think if u can save another thousand from the purchase, just look forward to what you can do to the car!

The closest reputable tuners to Chico that I can think of are Works or GST in Hayward. So, either way, you'll have to make a trip down to the Bay Area. From what I've seen/read, I would recommend GST... and you can find Bryan on the boards here.
