I really love my Ruger SR-9 9mm handgun. great price, super light and fits great in my hand. 17+1 capacity is awesome too when you go to the gunrange.

Since the law took effect, here's two situations that have been in the news:

1) Friends are at a house party, some goons came in and tried to steal the keg. A female told them to get lost. One of the goons hit her and knocked her down. Her husband stepped up to defend his wife, and of the goons put a gun in his face. He had a concealed carry permit and shot the intruder. The guy didn't get charged with anything, and the other goons were potentially facing murder charges last I heard, because if they hadn't tried to rob the party, their friend wouldn't have been shot.

2) An older man started a road rage situation. At the next red light, the older man exited his vehicle with a handgun drawn and approached the other car. Trapped in an intersection, the other driver removed his handgun from his glove box and fired 3 times at the approaching road rager. All 3 shots struck the older man and he later died at a hospital.

BOTH of these incidents were in nice areas of the city. Criminals and scum bags are going to have a gun no matter what. Law abiding citizens are the only people harmed by gun control laws.

I live near Philly, so I'd go for the handgun. Intercooler won't deter a bunch of flashmob thugs from a random attack.

76.24% are for the gun, feel unsafe in the great USA and don't want to be the sucka caught without one.

23.76% are for the intercooler, have no fear of the impending zombie attack, and will have the extra hp to escape hostile situations.

I like this thread, at first it seemed like a tough choice but the answer is pretty obvious.
Plus this is more of a which one should I get FIRST, you can always get an intercooler later or get a cheap CZ or something for carry and look for a used FMIC?

I can't wait just a few more months until I move to Cali, I'll be applying for my CCW and getting my Evo X as soon as I get there.

Had the Smith & Wesson, & LOVED IT!!! I had to sell all of my guns due to a "domestic violence" arrest with my now ex wife. The saddest part was I was protecting my kids from her violent rage on my 6 year old daughter and I get arrested for domestic violence and have to sell my handguns, shotgun and rifle. Guess where I lived when this happened, CALIFORNIA. Now in Colorado and miss my time on the shooting range. Sorry for the , but my vote is handgun.

 

Gun. I have a glock 22 .40 cal, a 9mm ruger ,FnP 40 and a sig sauer 9mm. glock 22 by far the best handgun i have shoot.

 

I didn't vote because I say both, where's the "both" button. Well since I already have an upgraded intercooler I say gun:-) Desert Eagle or automatic shotgun.....

In all seriousness though, do you really feel that unsafe in your city? I live in scumbag Miami, Fl where people pack heat like they carry wallets and have yet to need one. Guess it doesn't hurt to be prepared for the coming zombie epidemic though
