Damn valet's. My friend used to work for a IT company and he told me he caught the valet's racing a Porsche and a S2K in the parking lot. WTF??? Sorry about your car.

First...That definitely blows massive chunks! So sorry to hear about this.

Second...Where was this? Which restaurant/club/valet company? Not that I would ever let a valet touch my Evo, but it's good information.

Ouch. Hopefully it goes well for you in the end and you get a ton of money from them.

Reminds me when I went to a restaurant and the valet asked me if he wanted me to have him park my car. Of course, I said no and parked it myself. Walked to the door to ask my friends if the valet even asked them and they said no, he never asked them. Now I'm glad I said no. Not going to let some valet joy ride my car, especially after seeing this now.

The place that did this is a place called Avantis and is in Dallas Texas. They usually don't have a valet service but did at the time because they were having some sorta special thing that night (apparently street races out back or something (sarcasm))

As someone posted before the only issue that I am having right now with the attorney is that they contacted to company and they said that they did not do anything to the vehicle and that they do not know what could have happen to it. They state that they are not liable for it via I voluntarily gave up the keys to said person to park the vehicle and we would have to come up with some sort of way to show proof otherwise. The company said that they have select cameras but they are not always on the vehicles at all times on the route to the lot which was right behind the building and they were going to look back to see if it was ever caught on tape of what happened. Right now I have to show some sort of proof that they did anything it which is gonna be hard to do legally.

And yes guys the wife is awesome, she loves the car a lot and just wants it to be faster and better this time. Couldn't ask for more, just hope everyone else's wife will let them do that someday. Then again she has not seen any of the upcoming bills for it so she may change her attitude a bit then lol.

What a Shame!!! I'm actually a valet, and never would mess with a customers car, but then again, I would never trust another valet with my car. Half of those guys can't drive stick shift as it is, and the resturant or valet service should have adequate insurance to handle the damage to your car.

this is a perfect reason to have an AP or OP20 constantly logging..

that way if anything does happen you have more than he said/she said...

I was a valet when I was in college. I got to drive some very nice, very high end cars... I was lucky enough to become the account manager at one of the best accounts in Phoenix. You name it, I drove it (except an enzo, f40, or 575... 3 cars on my list I never got to scratch off). I won't lie, I had fun in some of the cars I drove (mostly with the customers permission.. I'll never forget the time I had to go pick up a customers ferrari)... High end cars were only driven by me or a handful of trusted valets who I knew wouldn't 'damage the car (too much love for these cars)... but knowing what some of the other valets would 'want' to do with these cars, I would never let them valet my stuff unless I knew them (as I did with most of my customers). Like someone else said, so many valets don't know how to drive stick (I had to send a couple of valets home for this)... and others just don't care about the car... be very careful if you valet…

Incidents like this is what keeps me away from valet. I'll just drop people off and then go park it myself even if it's further away. And if there's no parking, then more than likely there's a long wait to be seated, so I just go to a different restaurant lol
