About 6 years ago I had valet somehow take about a 7 inch long and 2 inch wide scratch out of the hood scoop in my 04 WRX. After about a week of complaining to anyone I could get ahold of in the valet company, they agreed to pay to get it repaired.

It was insignificant compared to what you are dealing with, just make sure to be persistent with them! Good luck with getting them to cover the repairs (as they should)!

^^^^ Back to this---WHERE did it take place? I live here too and just want to be sure I dont make the same mistake-- or give my money to an establishment that hires/employs/ blindly permits this to happen. Tephra valet mode for me.

this may be a no brainer but doesn't the engine actually log the past events of the last drive? couldn't you just hook up a laptop and see what happened? cops use this to scan wrecked cars to see how the car was driven before the point of impact
