You need to do more research to understand what, exactly, the 08 has had done. I suspect you can, with a little digging on these forums, find the previous owner too, and get those details. I've found, often, that many people with modified cars take MUCH better care of the car than the 17 year girl that never changed the oil. Give me the guy who labored over every detail for years, making sure the car ran perfectly always than the idiot who kept it stock or leased it, never changed the oil, never waxed it and, potentially, drove it very poorly.

on the flip side of that, the one with the modded car probably launched and tracked it 50 times... while the stock one probably just used it as a DD.

i know nothing about these cars yet, but most people will agree that an unmodded, one year old, 3k mile car, is better than a 3 year old 36k mile car with a some sound system package that probably blows. You just have to decide if $2,500 is worth it to you

I'm curious why everyone is ******* out that 08? A handful of people on this forum are rocking those same wheels, have the same gauge pod/gauges on their steering column, have a nisei uicp, and have wrapped their interior in dinoc. I personally don't find that combo of parts appealing, but by no means do I automatically think its a POS. Does everybody that mods their car beat the **** out of it?? I certainly don't.

Do a little diggin and you can find out a lot about the car If it were me though, I'd buy new (actually, I did buy new hehe).

2010 hands down. Low miles newer model and at least you know its in better condition than the 2008. I wouldnt trust the 08. and it only a little more expensive.
