I know the car was originally from Texas, then registered in Oklahoma before ending up in MD. I'll have to see if I can get a name.
Thanks for posting!
This is mostly speculative, but I suspect that the original owner was a serial killer. He fled Texas after murdering his first prostitute. Fearing the death penalty in TX, he crossed the border to Oklahoma.
As we all know, there aren't many reckless drug-addicted prostitutes in Oklahoma. That would explain the move to Baltimore, where there is an abundance of human misery to feed upon.
A kidnapped Bmore ***** likely escaped from the trunk, effectively ruining the OEM Evo VIII wing. The VII wing is supposed to be tougher to break (read: kidnapped hooker proof), so the upgraded wing would help his cause moving forward.
Finally, the VW dealer. The original owner certainly needed to lower his profile on the streets of Baltimore, as the street walkers started to wise up to the white rice rocket of death. What says non-threatening more than a VW Beetle? The original owner swapped the Evo for a VW Beetle so that he could continue the carnage undetected.
Have your wifes friend thoroughly inspect the interior of the vehicle with a black light. I'd put money on her finding all sorts of bodily fluids, blood etc.

VII wing on it, ricer pep boys pedal set, missing timing cover, megan racing exhaust manifold, upper pipe, intake setup, exhaust of some sort, cheap ebay front lip, aftermarket radio, surprised i didn't spot any gauges. Wonder if its on stock clutch? Have you driven it pete?
Looks like its possibly been repainted but internet pictures are hard to tell. White 8's are great looking cars, the mileage isn't to bad it'll just take some time to get it looking clean and pretty.

I haven't driven it. She called from the dealer last night to say she was buying it. I was hoping she would have asked me my opinion on it before she pulled the trigger, but its too late now.
It has a clean car fox, that doesn't mean it wasn't painted though.
