Summit wanted something like $14,000 or so when we attempted to rent it earlier this year. Couldn't get enough confirmed people to not make it a huge loss. Best of luck. If you go for it, keep us posted.

I def will keep you updated. Im in the process of building my car right now to compete for the Stock Turbo Record (Big thanks to STM, especially Brian for all the help with this). Thought it might be nice as i do the tuning and building myself to see what other evo owners are running and meet some other people.

If not maybe ill just meet up with you guys one day and we can go racing. not a track rental just a regular day. I will look into some other tracks for rentals as well.

We try to go to as many events as possible, and squeeze in a seat time day or Friday at the track to get some practice time in with the race car.

Hopefully we'll catch up with you at the track some time.

Are you talking about a drag strip or a road course?

If you look into renting the Jefferson circuit at Summit point its alot more reasonable. But, when you think about renting a track you need to address the ambulance, insurance, etc. Altho, at summit the ambulance, fire bottles, radios' are included in that price. That is not the case at all tracks!

FWIW, i'd say the average price is around 5-6k a day at most bigger road courses.

If your really interested in an up and coming group to work with, check out this group.

They will be having some great events next year and i would recomend them to anyone.

I thought this was for road race tracks...

We have a friend renting MIR next week and it works out to $100 a person for the entire day. So it's not really expensive at all.

I'll get some info from him on who and how and pass it on.

Not at the moment. Drag Racing is my first goal at the moment. Id like to get into road course in the future but that would be a whole different evo for that then.

I appreciate all the info Cory! Doesnt mean i still wouldnt come down to a road race event just to hang out and meat other evo/racing enthusiasts.
