NoVA Tuners

Ok I know there was just a big dyno day this weekend but I missed it. I through a SES light over this weekend and I am using this excuse to get a little tuning done. All I have is a AMS intake but I was thinking of getting an MBC in there... Who can tune my car in the area? I live in Gainesville (right outside of Manassas). Let me know.

who the hell just recommended dtm? Gtfo of here with that.

Contact tscompusa on here. He will road tune for a good price and does a good job. Ptuning can also tune. Don't go to dtm unless you want ur car f'd up.

Hit up lan _evo_mr9, he's a good guy and was right on as I was working through some areas in my tune. Also e-tuning with Aaron from English racing is amazingly easy. Here's a link to lan_evo_mr9

Lanmrevo9 will square you away and he is a nice guy. he can fix ur issue.

and no, greg is not a tuner. why is this thread giving this guy fake advice? If you talk to greg he will point you to Seyla. Seyla doesn't run a tuning business, more of tuning for himself and helping others. Post on dcevoclub and send him some messages and see if hell help.

Greg will do everything else but tune.

i never stated that greg was the tuner, merely that he would square him away. point him in the right direction. whats false about that?

Does anyone know a good place to have my clutch replaced and transmission looked at?(I hope its ok to ask on here but this is this only NoVa post I've found). I got a quote for the clutch replacement for between $550-700 not including looking at the transmission and figuring out what's wrong. Is that a good price? I've had several cars but never had to have that done.

I won't point anyone to Seyla. The car will come to my shop and get tuned at my shop BY Seyla.

Just wanted to clarify after the fact since YOU don't have your facts straight, even if this is almost a year old.

Just an FYI, I'd recommend against a manual boost control on an X. They don't perform very well. Invest in an electronic and you'll be much happier.

We've been tuning a good number of X's lately. We can show you some graphs of what they make with various parts if you'd like to see what you can expect.

Call us or swing by if you want to discuss further.

Thanks,
Cory

I hope you are referring to ECU controlled boost and not an aftermarket electronic boost controller like a profec!

All the X's need is a 3 port boost control solenoid upgrade and a proper ECB tune. Nothing else is necessary for the BEST boost control on that platform.

Some of the aftermarket solenoids suck.
