ours is much larger than the one pictured, its actually goes down quite a ways along the radiator fan

I bet MAP's would work really nice with the Cobb SF intake.

The CBRD unit looks really nice. It addresses an issue I ran into with my diy heat shield. When the AC fan kicks on there is a lot of air deflecting off the hood and going back down towards the intake. It wasnt until I shielded the filter from air from the top/passenger side/bottom of the filter that the AC fan stumble went away. Looks like the CBRD shield will do the same.

The pics show which setup worked best, but are chronologically out of order. Heatshield is currently installed like the older pic, and does a better job than just covering the bottom of the filter.

Better, but still some stumbles when the AC fan kicks on:

which MAP shield did you get? i didn't see a MAP brand on their site.
