Intake fan sheild for Cobb

Anyone happen to know where i would be able to get a heat sheild that fits a cobb intake? As far as i know they don't make one for their intake, and i had a bit of an issue this summer with a crappy idle.

I've seen a few people make their own, but I don't think anyone actually sells one. CBRD has a new shield though, maybe it can be made to fit with the Cobb SF.

hmmm maybe I'll give that a try. Now that it's starting to cool off again it won't be much of an issue, just figure i'd plan it out so I'm not turning on my A/C next June or something and cursing myself out for not doing anything about it lol

I don't see why Cobb didn't create a heat shield to go with their intake. I was looking into getting one of them, but will probably choose another because of this.

Would have been nice to have a custom heat shield, just ended up making one for the COBB intake...works well.

Having said that, I will likely look into the CBRD shield.
