E85 Tune Queries
I'm a two week old EVO X MR owner with the upgrade bug and was thinking of going E85 as i'm going in for a tune in a couple of weeks i thought i might as well do a dual map.
To my understanding all i need to run E85 is new injectors and a fuel pump, i was thinking:
DW 850cc Injectors
Walbro 255 GSS-342
There's also dealer also having the following deal:
1 set (4pcs) 725cc or 1000cc Injector Dynamics plug and play injectors
1 x Works engineering Stage 1 Fuel pressure Regulator (lifetime warranty)
1 x Works engineering fuel regulator adaptor for stock fuel rail
1 x walbro 255 fuel pump GSS-342 fuel pump and strainer kit
1 x VR Fuel pressure regulator mini gauge oiled
Would the above be a better alternative or necessary?
Would anyone recommend any other supporting mods?
The applicable mods that the car has at the moment are:
Tomei Ti Catback
Tomei Ti Testpipe
Tougefactory Ti UICP
HKS Front Pipe
HKS Dump Pipe
JDM Password Intake
The E85 that we have in Australia varies from E70-E85 rating, to my understanding i should get some E70 and get it tuned at that and have it run rich if a higher octane does get poured in.
Thanks!
