Hi all, I have a small conundrum I cant quite figure out with my license plate. We got a front, and a rear. Rear is the standard location in the diffuser. I think I might have backed into a bunch of snow during the winter and bent my plate inwards. Ok, fine. I know how that happened, no harm, no foul. Now on to the problem: the front plate. It's located off to the side like most X owners. My license plate is warped outwards. Outwards. Unlike my rear that has been dented in, this thing bulges away from the body. I havent hit anything, nor do I think anyone's messed with it. But who would do that anyways. Anyone else have a front plate that's bending in a direction in a counter-intuitive way, or just seems to malform on it's own? Does my state just make terrible cheap license plates? It's not like I transferred plates or anything, these things were brand new and flat when I installed them. I'll snap a pic a little bit later.

 

Sounds like the way the plate was likely pressed plus the actual metal used is kinda crappy.
