car reviewers piss me off most of the time

Exactly, I didnt buy a RA to enjoy the "headliner". I bought it to look at the faces of ppl when I do 70 around the 40mph turn. The RA is indeed the poor man's evo, not necessarily to appeal to the general drones of cars to make the 9-5 commute eco-friendly.

While that article may not be good enough to put down for potty training paper, Car and Driver usually gets it right (IMHO). Been reading them for more than 20 years and I've owned many of the cars they rave about. Guess what they think is the best handling car for under $40k?

Yes. They've been designing the basic steering wheel on Evos for quite some time. I'm 99% sure that the X one is Momo-derived, even if it wasn't actually made by Momo Design.
