ETS exhaust question

So I just received my ETS V2 quiet catback exhaust and hfc and was inspecting the parts when I noticed that two of the ends where I use the gaskets and bolts to connect seem to be misaligned from the pipe and the flange.

If you look at the pictures below, the edges of the pipes and the flanges aren't exactly flush and on the long pipe the flange looks a bit crooked to me.

Is this normal? The welding of the flanges to the pipes don't look like they are damaged from shipping in anyway.

It's very possible they designed it with the flange slightly angled for proper fitment, I know of a few companies who do this with their testpipes, but I just can't remember if my ETS testpipe is like that or not. My guess is if you install it everything will line up correctly, but if it does not, Michael/ETS will definitely take care of you.

It's Correct. Pipe is just on a slight angle for fitment. Mine was the same way.

My V2 was the same way. Looking forward to getting the HFC at some point.

Dont worry about it, it all fits. You just have to be under the car and assembling it to have the perfect proof. Even if it was a screw up, Michael@ets would fix it without any problems.

Thanks for the quick response guys. That's how the pipe is designed to line up with the factory flange. Any other questions, let me know!

Thanks!

Michael
