My Evo does the same thing, even my old Evo VIII did this! Gonna get some drivetrain noise from these cars. I even get people asking me whats wrong with my car when my twin disk exedy gets hot and decides to have the two plates smacking each other, some noises just come with performance I guess.

 

Have the same issue bro; its ok an normal. The first time I got under my car to check the driveline and everything looked good.

Try to locate the sound by you outside and someone you trust driving to hear where it's coming from. It could be your cv joints need greased.

 

How would the cv joints need greased? Unless the boot was ripped of course. They are a non serviceable part.
