They are using it as a test drive car and letting people drive it. I wouldn't buy it especially if you are paying full price.

I would try to talk him down some on the car. I mean, they won't drop it down like 3k, but maybe it will help give you some leverage. I bought mine with about 50 miles on. 113 is a little much for a new car, especially a sports car. If they don't want to work with you a little then I would just search a little more. You can order one from Cali for cheaper with like 6 miles if you want.. and you get to pick your colors/options.

There is probably nothing wrong with the car anyway, it is just nice to start out with little mileage as possible when you are spending 30k+ on a 4cyl sports car.

The sticker says its $35,000. Its an octane blue gsr- which is what i want. all it has is the interior apperance package. I talked him down to $33k. Still tho... Im not too sure if i like the 113 miles. Im sure its fine. And there is warranty. And ill have over 100 miles on it in half a day. Im just hesitant.

Don't just walk away, run.

Is this unique to Evo owners?

I know several folks who have bought new Mustangs and Camaros -- "sports cars" too -- with between 90 and 200 miles on them "new". I thought test driving a vehicle before you purchase, even before you start the paperwork process, is normal?

Back in 2008 the dealership would not even let me start the car up before I bought it.

Bought my Evo X with 8 miles on it. After my test drive it had 11.

If I were buying a new vehicle with anything over 50 miles on it, I'd walk away.

So no, I personally don't think it is normal.

Even 50 miles is too many for me, I have the salesperson to check all the Evo they have and find out the few has lowest mileage. I got mine at only 6 miles but I already put 16k miles in 9 months, lol.

If you can talk him down to 33k for that one, pretty sure you can get the same deal on a lower mileage one. I'd say just look for another one has lower mileage and even gaps on body panels for 33k.

Me personally I wouldn't mind a Car having 100 or so miles on it. Now if it were a GTR then it better have 0 for $90,000.00

Go for it man, I doubt it was beat on. If they seem like a legit dealership, which they must since you are considering buying from them, then go for it.

ive bought my last 3 cars from them. an 00 eclipse gt, 07 eclipse, and a 10 lancer gts with 30 miles. i was ok with the 30. i just think there could be too many what ifs at 113. i dunno how he drove it. he drives a truck and could have just beat the **** out of it.

Mine had 120 miles on it when I picked it up. It now has 27K and I haven't had any problems. I also bought from a dealer that was reputable and that I had dealt with in the past. It had over 300 on it by the time I drove it home, so wasn't a big deal to me.
