02 housing, DP, Test pipe & Catback?

So I have owned 4 turbo cars and am very familiar with swaping out the Downpipe & catback. However it has only ever been 2 pieces. A full length downpipe & a catback. Piece of cake. The evo X is slightly confusing me....

So if I order a buschur catback, then I also need a "test pipe replacement pipe" and then also a downpipe?

Does it go catback, test pipe, downpipe, 02 housing?

or

catback, test pipe, 02 housing?

it all depends, if your doing a o2 housing replacement (ams, ets, map) then the housing and dp are one peice, if keeping stock o2 housing and just replacing dp the it is a seperate piece. then would be the test pipe section, here you can either get a cat less or a HFC. then the cat back. not all systems with with other peices of ther systems. if you are going to use different vendors search and ask if anyone has had issues with fitment.

I would be looking at the Buschur racing bullet catback, So I need to find out which Test pipe & DP go well with it..... I do not want the Buschur downpipe because it is only 2.75" and I want a 3"

I will try to help you out.

The factory setup is like this.

O2 Housing
Downpipe
Cat
Catback

Most companies like us do this.

O2 Housing/Downpipe - Combo (1 piece unit)
Test Pipe / High Flow Cat Pipe
Cat Back

You can build your complete exhaust system on our webpage.

http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/E...haust-Systems/

Just add a downpipe, test pipe or cat pipe and then a catback.

Thanks!

Michael

Some companies also offer a "short" downpipe for people who do not want to replace the stock o2 housing. Id definitely go with the "eliminator" style DP that Michael mentions above.
