Mix and Match

I was wondering how many of you mix and match your aftermarket parts for your Evo? I currently have a TurboXS CBE, AMS CAI and I have arriving this week a AMS Test Pipe, AMS Widemouth DownPipe. My next purchase will be the ETS FMIC, ETS LICP, and the ETS Intercooler. And if you do mix and match your parts please list your setup please

I would try to stick to one company for a certain section. For instance I am planning on going with the ETS turbo back exhaust and the AMS intercooler, piping and intake. Mixing and matching the exhaust could cause some fitment and install issues and vise versa with the intake system. Just my .02

I went ETS for intake and exhaust side upgrades. I did MAP turbo and fuel pump and FIC injectors.

ams intake, ets intercooler/piping, milspec hfc, litespec exhaust

I got the ams intake because it IMO is the best performing out of the intake options for the OTS accessport maps. The rest of those parts are the best performing/looking/priced out of their respective categories...

Agreed, our job is to find the right parts from the right manufacturers. Then, and maybe most importantly, have them installed properly and the car tuned to make best use of their working together. That requires, IMHO, the right shop.
