Absolutely... I have my kid in the back in a car seat every day. Remember, its based on the Lancer which is a bog standard econo box. The trunk is kind of tight, but today we crammed $200 worth of crap from Target in there, so even that isnt so bad.

It works fine as a regular daily as long as the suspension and recaros are ok for you.

IMO you can spend the same and get a much better family car. I love my X, but I would never buy it for a family car.
I have a 2 year old and we rarely use if for family stuff. The truck space it the major issue. You can not fit a full size stoller in there.
Get a Legacy for the Fam,(thats what we have) more space, all wheel drive, safe minus the perforamce aspect . You can get a GT and have all the power you need. Just my 2 cents.

My wife's grocery getter. Funny when she smokes someone at the stop light then puts the window down and the carseat in the back.

I'm a stick driver and almost never use the paddles or stick option. The full auto mode is so fast in sport and SS.

I never understood the baby stroller argument. I'd rather buy a stroller that fits my car, then buy a car to fit some huge baby stroller.

Trust me, if these people can make it work, so can you:
