Map EF4 numbers
we put it threw hell so if you dont you should be fine. like i said we spent some time on driveabilty, most tuners just do 3-5 pulls and just tune for full throttle we spent almost 5 hours on dyno
alright we spent alot of time on dyno yesterday with new set up... some good and some bad
we started with some driveability tuning on 20 psi 336 whp on mustang dyno i was getting excited, once we got the tune right for that we started to move up the psi .. we had some problems the car lost fuel pressure so we let the car cool down and started to figure out what the problem was. we figured it was the brand new DW 300 fuel pump was over heating so we swap it with a good old walbro and it was flowing better than the dw, so we went on and then we figured out the car would not hold more than 23psi... it spike to around 27 and fall right away to 23 psi we made a few calls and determine that my boost controller AEM tru boost is a nice and easy set up it just would not hold the boost... so we order a 3 port grimmspeed and will atempt more tuning next week with just 23 psi 404 and 329 wtq with no knock.. on the shop mustang dyno and on VD it was 469 whp and i forget the trq so hopefully we can put the boost up to 30-32 psi next week and hit the goal we had for 450-500 on the mustang dyno, all done with 93 oct.
The good was the car has alot left in it with a extra 7-10 psi and some timming, the car drives great almost like a stock car
The bad is the couple of problems we had and another day on the dyno

Heres a copy of the VD graph, we did not unfortunately do a vd graph before the build.

Mine takes off after 6000 aswell
2.2 with GSC S2s
very impressive midrange, i think i need more boost
Do you have the boost plot for a road pull handy? very interested in spool characteristics

Hello all, I'm building my 2.0 with Manley turbo tuff I beam Rods and Wiseco 9:1 compression pistons, Supertech dual valve springs, titanium retainers, Supertech Valves, and GSC S2 Cams. The block will not be sleeved. Im wondering if the block will be able to take the torque of the MAP EF4. Im debating the MAP EF4 and MAP EF3. Can someone help me out with this super tough decision. The other question is what size fuel pump and injectors should I go with if I were to roll with EF4. Car is staying on 93 pump gas. I'm looking to make damn good power without pushing the unsleeved block to its limits. The car is a daily driver.
The shops street evo will soon have some ef4 numbers on the stock block/cams. Stay tuned we will post up our results
