FQ300 or FQ360

Hey guys

I am a new member to this forum , I will be saving up for a Evo X hopefully will have the money in the next 2-3 years.

I dont know alot about Evo X just yet, but had a Evo 8 for 6 months.

I live in New Zealand , if I were to get a Evo X in the future , what do you guys recommend ? FQ300 or FQ360

I know that FQ360 has a few HKS mods on exhaust , intake , and ECU, and what will the price difference be from FQ300 to FQ360 ?

I heard that FQ360 fuel tank isnt too practical........anyway , can you guys who owns the car let me know about

1) price ( New and second hand )
2) regular maintenance cost
3) FQ300 difference to FQ360
4) I prefer the 5 speed manual version over SST ( not a big fan of pedal shift )
5) And for those who owns the car , which one would you rather have , FQ300 or FQ360

much appreciated guys ~~

Quick call to your local dealer or go to the NZ website for this one..... but I think that the FQ range is limited to the UK

2) regular maintenance cost
Call your local dealer and ask

http://www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk/evo...fications.aspx The main benifit here is that you get good torque numbers, something most tuners dont manage as people are focused on peak power numbers to post on forums!

You have answered your own question here!

Go for the 300 and use the cash you save to add your own personal touch.

much appreciated guys ~~
The fuel tank comment that you have made seems to realate to the Top Gear review..... but they are talking about fuel consumption, not the tank size or design. However, if you do want to track your car, then you do need to change the fuel tank or insert a surge tank. Unless you can get a JDM spec. car which comes with a different tank.

Ya, I'm guessing you'd have to import the FQ models from the UK.

If you're from NZ, why not check out the Evo X TMR Bathhurst Edition? It seems comparable to the FQ-330..
