It's not welded in. I am staring at it right now. It screws in. I took a photo of it and will post it up later.

Not really silly there are plenty of tested resonators that can provide information on how they flow. If you will be adding a high flow cat you will be changing the flow rate anyway. A high flow cat is a good option also if you are ok with losing some HP potentially and avoiding emissions headaches, just beware high flows don't always last long. Ams even sells a resonated testpipe Ams they know all about flow.

Too much effort. I will just deal with it. She is a beast with the new exhaust though.
