So the consensus is leave it be because:

a. overpriced

b. probably abused/improperly modded/used

?

I understand that u want to get one that has a few mods because u feel it will be a good value.. I might be doing the same.. if you can afford it I would get a newer model that is stock and do mods yourself

used isn't always bad, but they dealers not knowing why it was traded in...... that makes me nervous. For instance, i knew the original owner of mine, he traded it cause he lost his job and didn't want his credit hurt, so sold the car, took out a small loan paid off remainder of car. worked out great. but in turn i knew what I was buying.
I also had the local dealer( not where i bought it) explain to me that regular fuel was ok to put in the car. as long as every fourth tank was supreme, and they had no idea how to change my sst fluid, but said they'd give it a try. Congrads for coming on here, hope we helped you out more than a dealer, as they just want to sell sell sell, unfortunate for the good dealers out there.

In saying that would be worrisome about buying an Evo from a dealer you don't know. Would have been different if you had been local. had bought 4-5 cars from them. good standing customer. your siblings, wife, and everyone else had bought a car from them, screwing you doesn't exist as they want you and everyone else to come back.

^+1 I would think they would not want to mess up the trend you have set, but I guess you never know.
