Miata battery

question.... Has anyone used like a miata battery for a better cold weather battery as apposed to an odyssey 680 which sucks in cold weather? Jsut curious as I was looking for a better small battery and someone brought this up I thought based on the size of the battery this may just work with a small battery kit on the evo.

Input............go

What battery are you referring to? is it the same size as the PC680?

not sure, just remember someone on here saying a miata battery will have more cold start amps vs the 680. All the miata batterys I look up on the internet seem just a bit bigger than the 680.

You can use a Miata battery. You may also be able to get away with a 20L motorcycle battery (sealed).

i ask about the size because I have a battery tray for a PC680. So just to clear this up, a Miata battery is the same size?

yeah I'm gonna look into that because I should be able to pretty much eye them it up with the 680 as far as size and I'm sure you can go to the local autozone store and they will allow you to test fit it.
