I am looking to get one here maybe around next christmas but I just wanted to know what would be the first thing i can do to beef it up whether it be a new turbo stage upgrade or what? i have been doing research on the 2011 Evolution lancer X GSR because thats the one i want and I also want it to be street legal the whole way hint hint...haha im good at hiding things myself under hoods...any suggestions would be appreciated thanks
^^ Haha. Yea that should be plenty of powa..
So what are you wanting to get out of the car? What are your power goals? Is this going to be a Daily driver? Weekend Warrior? Or just a race car?

Street legal is such a loose term.
Here in AZ my friends dad has a 1500hp twin-turbo northstar powered 4 seater sandrail with valid AZ street registration and insurance, because he has lights, turn signals, seat belts and a horn (literally one of the ones with the black rubber bulb that you squeeze).
Cops have warned him about the sound levels because super-traps suck for keeping the db's down, and the open wastegates sound like a toddler in a grocery store being told "NO CANDY!" ...but legal
Really, you can pass most states by simply keeping your cat-converter and having a girl with a nice rack in the passenger seat.

There are plenty of upgrades to obtain power gains before switching turbos. First decide what you will be using the car for, what your goals are and how much time and money you want to spend. Do some of your homework before jumping in to anything. Good luck with the purchase, you won't regret it!
