Evo X SSS Headlights Issues

Well I just purchased a set of SSS headlights and after installing them I am having 2 issues. The car is a base model GSR.

1. The passenger side high beam is not working. I tried switching the bulbs to see if it was a bulb and it did the same thing. The same bulb worked fine on the driver side, on both low and high beams. I checked all my connections (only 2 plugs) like 20 times to make sure it was in correctly and it was. So does anyone have any idea of what else it could be?

2. The driver side project seems to be moving... not just the projector itself, but the whole housing. This includes the projector and the SSS model DRL bulb attachment. It seems like the swivels left and right a little. Is this for the headlight adjustment or is the headlight broken?

Any help or input will be greatly appreciated... Thanks.

I'm not sure about the high beam issue but for the driver side issue it almost sounds like the housing itself was opened, perhaps to black out, and not reassembled properly. Did you buy these light used & OEM?

wher in PA are you, i may be able to help you, i actually had my headlights torn apart, and know a little bit about them.

Also for the high beam, have someone flick them high to low, you will hear a little motor noise, its actually the shield moving out of the way of the light to allow it to shine everywhere. I am assuming that is broken(or wasnt assembled back correctly. Secondly, if your headlights seem to be swaying, there are bolts in the back, you can try tightening them, they actually manually move the projectors, give them a few even twists to see if somebody never actually tightened em.(dont overtighten them or you will snap the clips, there is alot of extra bolt that may be sticking out and is deceiving to how much more you can tighten them)

Like Hudson said, sounds like someone didnt assemble them back correctly.

Yes the lights were blacked out by the previous owner. The main issue I'm having now is deciding what the cost would be let's say if the motor for the shield isn't properly working or the tabs on the other headlight are broken that hold the housing in place.

I am in the Poconos btw.
