Because it seems to do the best in the car. I've had to use Circle-K 93 and it is horrible. My car has acted up pretty bad and I've had that on two occasions both with getting Circle K gas. Chevron also seems to be pretty good.

 

i guess ill have to start using chevron now since there isnt a bp around

 

MA: Mobil 93, Shell 93, and Cumberland Farms 93 (Think this is from BP if I'm not mistaken).

But should I use premium for my 2012 Lancer ES? I know the EVO and Ralliarts require it.

*Sunoco, Mobil & Hess are not only the closest and most numerous big name stations near me but they also seem to have better 93 gas. The small stores seem to have crappy gas but it's probably just in my head. The E85 up here is always good. The two stations we've tested up here came back as 81% ethanol.

 

you do not need to use premium if you only have the lancer.

* Why?: Kroger is 15 cents cheaper than everyone else, and offers 10cent discount for a fillup per $100 groceries. Their pricing ensures they stay very busy, and they are turning the pumps over constantly, so I never worry about old gas. My knocksum values are lowest and stable here always, plus they have E85 should I ever want to upgrade. They're also 2 miles from my house.
