He smashed my evo with a rock!!!????
I totally agree. Just one problem I havnt admitted, my wife was the yelling idiot. That's what makes this real hard to swallow! I was so mad at her.
A truck with a ball on the back backed into me and created almost exactly the same damage lol... but yeah I'd be mad at your wife as well... but hey... if she says that's what happens you gotta trust her

No1. No mom nights out when a 1 year old baby is sick. For several reasons.
No2. No mom drives an Evo without man supervision to the bar end get drunk, even if she is a designated driver.
No.3 Never go with a designated driver car. For example, if someone puke in the car at least should be one of those who actually drunk.
For a starter
then you should learn from the story.

That was the first thought I had. Why the hell did she go out period especially with a sick baby at home. Secondly she knows how I am about my car. Hers has been in the shop or she'd never have considered driving mine. It just freaking sux. I work my tale off so my family has nice things n bam! No respect. Anyone know a divorce lawyer.jk
But make her go and fix the car. I mean literally, let her deal with all BS it comes with this. Insurance - body shops etc. Do not move a muscle , and she WILL learn not doing this again.
Womens not like to do and take care of car things like that, so when you make her do it, she will learn for sure. And you still will be a gentleman.
But both of you will remember this for a long time hopefully.

I'm still trying to picture this guy picking up a rock that would have to be big enough and hurling it through the air at the car.. Just doesn't compute. They must have stopped next to him and got scared when he picked up a huge rock and stalled trying to get away, or when she called him an a-hole, he became so mad, he transformed in to a huge green "monster" hulkish thing and threw the rock/boulder at the Evo..
Either way man, sucks to see that. Hope everything works out. I suggest getting a do-luck trunk as a replacement.

Well the story goes, he was in the middle of the alley, she yelled move a hole n slowly drove past. Plus there was a stop sign right their so he only threw it maybe 5 feet. I know its hard to believe but it was a rock. Believe the trunk is aluminum too. Maybe not quite as strong as a regular car trunk.
Man that is BAD! I mean you have no proof to the contrary but that doesn't look like a rock or else the guy that threw it was one BUFF ****. A toss, like most people would do with a rock that size would probably come down on top of the trunk or maybe swipe the back. But that looks like a line drive. Or he threw it up and she hit reverse at full speed and hit the rock coming down. Not likely though. I did damage appraisals for Progressive insurance for a few years and in the end, you have to take the story as it is unless you have proof to something else happening. But don't put it past a woman to lie about this stuff. Especially if they know how much we loved our cars. Mine closed the garage door on my Range Rover, luckily it just nicked the back bumper but left a notch in it. I didn't notice it for 3 weeks. She never told me! I just happened to see it one day when her 12 year old daughter was with me. She saw me talking to myself "what the heck (BTW heck wasn't the word I used and I had to apologize to her daughter for letting the other word slip) happened? Some idiot at work must have back into me" But the whole time I was thinking that is an odd mark for someone to back into me unless it was a work truck and they had something hanging off. Meanwhile while I am out there trying to figure it out, she bee lines it into the house to tell her mom that I know something hit my car. LOL They later admitted it. She said "she was going to tell me but..."
