He smashed my evo with a rock!!!????

I know this isn't exactly what this forum is for but being that I am in the midst of fellow evo lovers I greatly value everyones opinion. I'll make this as short and to the point as possible.
Last Saturday night my wife went out to a club with some of her friends as the designated driver. I stayed home to take care of our sick 1 year old baby boy. At this club a guy, lets call him T.J. Ferrell, who my wife had never met tryed hitting on one of her friends. He had no game and started getting frustrated, guess he hadn't gotten any in a while. So he basically tryed to pick a fight with one of the guys in her group of friends. Someones coat was insulted then a sweatshirt and so on... They decide to get out of their before the situation got worse. T.J. Ferrell also left with his head hung low and blue ***** in his pants. As my wife rounded the back alley near the club, in my 2011 graphite grey gsr with 5,000 miles on it, their was the guy walking down the street. As she and her passenger passed someone decided to yell "*** hole." Well it was about this time a very loud thud came from the back of the evo. This massive d-bag had picked up a cantilope size rock and smacked dead center into my trunk. I couldn't believe the damage and will be posting picks. He ran off like the coward he is and my wife called the police right away. I went to the scene of the crime (which the cop should have done) the next morning and found the rock complete with graphite grey paint on it.

My question is, hypothetically speaking of course, what would you do to this guy? Keep in mind I had absolutely nothing to do with the situation and my car now looks like it was raped by an elephant. I mean it caved in the whole trunk. If you found all his info online what would you do? Just for fun of course, I would love your input. Thanks and yes we are waiting for the justice system to handle it.

I'd take the rock with your GG paint on it... and just add a touch of blood red to it. By a touch I mean a couple quarts

I'd rent a bulldozer/backhoe/bobcat and go visit his house

You obviously have financial assets that would be put at risk if you do anything physical to this dirtbag. As much of a fantasy it is to think of causing him great pain and harm, etc., your best bet is to let the law handle it. There is plenty you can do if you really want to fixate on this in terms of helping them track him down.

Dude that is horrible! I would be so pissed but your doing the right thing by letting the justice system handle it. It's not worth going to jail over. Be the bigger man and let this a-hole pay in the courts system. Again... sorry to hear about this

I don't think the cops will do much, if your wife knows the guys name, take him to small claims court for the damages, make sure you get a good estimate and fix it cheaper to come out on top.

1) I wouldnt have allowed my wife to take my EVO to the night club knowing that there are always haters out there looking to hate on nice cars

2) whoever yelled a-hole out the window was in the wrong for instigating the guy.

3) The guy as embarrassed and blue balled as he is had nothing to lose by acting the way he did.

I feel bad about this unfortunate incident, but whenever a bunch of ladies go out clubbing together face this risk of getting hit on by scumbags

i always avoid places like that, clubs bars and what not. When a drunk driver hit me with a hit and run. i've heard to many horror stories about clubs, bars, strip clubs, all that stuff.

I love the suggestion but I had to give the rock to the Frostburg Police Dept. Seeing as how it fit the smashed trunk like a puzzle piece and at first they thought he threw a full beer can... When I post the pics you will see how funny the beer can idea was. Nolan Ryan couldn't have done that much damage with a full can. Not even one of those big Australian beer cans.

Small claims court and/or press charges for vandalism/destruction of property, etc if you know who he is and where he lives. Since you already posted on here, I would not do anything "vigilantish" on him as it can be used against you.

Normally she doesn't take the evo out anywhere but our beater vehicle was in the shop. Plus she had to sell her STI when our baby came so I feel bad that she's driving a Durango around. I agree about not yelling out the window but we all do stupid stuff sometimes. I will definetely give the justice system several months to correct the situation. I have ALL his info and he should be getting served by officer Bacon tonight. I'm not kidding, thats the cops last name. You can't make this stuff up.

At least you have his info. Thats a head start.

Hypothetically, I would have taken the rock, his info, and while he was sleeping I would have "placed" the rock in his front seat...... through a window... or two.
