He smashed my evo with a rock!!!????
So the mini boulder chucking a-hole lawyered up, got his mommy and went to the police station where he confesed to doing it. Good news, finally. Says he wants to pay for the damage before we go to court but doesn't believe he did $1800 in damage to my car. I say he can pay it or we can go to court and I will get really picky about missed work, rental car while mine is being repaired. Credit card intrest since I had to pay out of pocket to avoid my insurance going up. And I still think he deserves a little revenge one day. I have a good memory. Although I wont damage his car because I am not a *****.

I used to think that you can take the human out of the Evolution, but you can't take the evolution out of the human. After seven plus pages of this, I'm no longer sure.

OP, I do not mean disrespect to you or yours but...
Wow, really intelligent on all sides.
An eye for an eye and we would all be blind people.
I understand protecting you self, family and home. If someone spills a drink on you or accidently hits your car is it time to hulk out? What if you are being a douche and instigating a fight and happen to get more than you bargained for should people feel sorry or should you have the right to get even now that you have lost?
I know that in this situation there was more going on than a simple accident. I am not saying to roll over. I am saying that it is better to walk away for the most part instead of attempting to show how tough you are or "teach them a lesson". I would have definitely found the person who did it. I am sure that I would be irate. I would have called the cops and made sure the situation was handled. If you plan to fight make sure its worth it and dont be a *****. Fight for something that you cant replace.
I know people in prison right now because they did not know how to let **** roll off their shoulders.
Things can be replaced. Insurance will pick up the cost and "paying someone a visit" will simply make you on the wrong side of the law and earn you a nice vacation in a 3x8 box.
Alot of these comments make me see that the movie Idiocracy may truly be our future...

That you expected humans to have evolved past the point of being vengeful beings - or that we've evolved beyond being scumbag rock-throwing douches? Or some "survival of the fittest" type thinking?
Just wondering

Personally, I'm a live and let live kinda guy.. mistakes happen, I understand that. But if you begin throwing stones to harm me, my family or my property.. you either need to change and reform your behavior quickly and sincerely, or society will eventually find a way to punish you for your harmful actions, in one way or another. Hopefully this kid has a real change of heart, and truly learns his lesson by means of legal and monetary retribution.. otherwise, he'll eventually mess with the wrong person and that's it, game over.
"And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious Do-Luck trunks.."
That sucks *** dude! Hope you get everything taken care of, easily looks like a big rock or a cinderblock could have done the damage, especially if he was drunk lol. Good aim I guess, still ****ty. Hope you get everything figured out
I think I gave the wrong impression with my last reply. I was still quite angry that he admits guilt, says he wants to pay before court, to look better infront of the judge no doubt, but was able to decide in the few seconds between hitti.g the car and running that the damage was less than my estimate. My point is I do believe it takes a coward to mess with a car n not a man. my revenge will be to come out on top with an even better trunk, sweeter ride, and stronger marriage. Beating him up is a fun thought but I dont live on a grade school playground.
