I didn't laugh, I almost cried! That's crazy!!

I ride my bike almost everywhere, which gets about 50mpg but when I fill my gfs car up, I cringe.

Yes, crazy... we have a lot of taxes on it, included the one due to the Ethiopian war (1935-1936).
Then there is another tax called "bollo" that you have to pay if you want to keep your car (not to use it like for insurance, if you leave the car on jack stands you have to pay the same)... It's calculated on the power of the car. Last year I payed 750€, this year, due to the crisis, there is the "superbollo" and I have to spend 1450€, more or less 1900$... so Italy is not the right place to be car addicted!
In fuel and taxes I spend way more than a lot of peolpe in mod...I'd like to modify my evo but till now I have to take care of all these requests of my country.
What an expensive dream...

I may complain... but I doubt it will change my driving. May make me wish my daily wasn't a truck... although I need a truck for work.

Paid $3.86 a gallon in Michigan yesterday, thankfully I only fill up once every two weeks (I live 5 miles from work) so not too concerned.

Currently paying $6/Gal here in Canada for 94 and is expected to get to +$7/Gal premium by summer

I'm really thinking about driving to the states to fill up every week! $4.5/Gal is so cheap!!

Although, I only spend about $275~$320 a month on gas with the Evo... when I had the RA, it was a$400 to $450 month by month!

Damn I probably spend about $150.00 to $180.00 a month filling up the Evo. How often do you fill up?

You can afford a 35 grand car then throw god knows how much more in mods into it, then ***** about gas prices, really? Nothing you can do anyway but ***** I got to get to work and play and I'm not walking so I'm paying whatever.
