My 97 DX still does very well though.
I am about to sell my SUV and buy a Subaru STI to park next to my Evo. Am I worried about the price of gas? Hell yes, I am! If it goes up that would mean I am limited to how much fun I will have.

I've been in Japan for so long, im not looking forward to going back to NC; out here in Japan the gas is expensive, but at the same time its only so big, you dont have to drive far to do anything. NC is spaced out....Poor Evo...smh

It's about $4.25ish for 93 here. It would probably cost an extra $3.50ish to fill up per week. I guess it's more of a reason to switch to E85.

But with E85 you get really bad gas mileage. So I'm not sure if you would save money

I have a Mazda 2 for my DD, that gets average of 37.3 mpg in mixed driving.
My EVO can get 25mpg on highway if I take it real easy, so thats not bad at all for as quick a car as it is. Gas prices only convince me that I made the right decision to trade my RX8 since it never got better than 17mpg no matter how I drove it.

$3.87 for 91 octane (thats the highest octane rating NM has).

I gas up about 4 times a month. At 12.5 gallons each fillup if gas went up by $.50 thats an extra $25 a month. Kinda sucks but not killer
