Rob, I love that scoop. I have to get one. What did you do to make the inlet bigger?

 

we did cut it with a Dremmel, came out nice. The whole is alot bigger, then a picture shows. Also now its actually directily hits the Upper IC piping too. I am sure it does a hell of a better cooling job, then a factory type of scoops or any other with a factory inlet sice. But a same time we not getting ready for any type of car show either . People have a very different opinion on it, we can call it cotreversial at least. Some loves, it others hate it. One thing for sure , you will get comments on it from the evo owners ...

Ha, didn't realize the thread bumped. I started it in March.
I eventually just covered with a Sharpie. Hard to notice and free.

 

lol I'm not the only one with this issue, I wish my car was black to sharpie it.

 

lol same got a small chip om my blue and that stands out, rob is that a rex speed one i like it and how much did you open it?
