Help Cobb sf install

Why is the support bracket so far from the hole it is supposed to screw into? I have 2010. Does it look like I got the wrong bracket or does something look wrong? If I push it toward the hole it wants to move the inlet out of whack. Please help thanks!

I didn't have any problems when installing mine (2008 model though).

If you have the clamp around the turbo inlet tightened down all the way, I would recommend loosing it and trying to get the bracket to line up better with the hole in the frame.

If you can get the hole on the bracket lined up and bolted down, then go back and tighten the turbo clamp all the way down.

Just a thought, good luck.

I got it new through a vendor. He said he ordered for a 2010 so I dont know.

If I force the bracket to the hole it pushes the MAF about 1" above where the inlet sits. So then if I adjust the inlet it pushes it way up from the turbo and starts to stress the other hoses, boost solenoid and breather hose. Just really aggravating.

Can anyone post a picture of their Cobb sf on their 2010 and show how it all lined up for them and the mounting hole in the frame rail so I cn compare please?

Last night I never even tried the bolt in the frame rail. It slides right through. So now I am 100% positive I got the the bracket and bolt for the 08. Now I just need to find out how soon I can get the correct bracket and bolt.

I'm in KS. Where are you?

I talked to Jookie and he said I could just remove the stock air intake bracket and then use that spot to bolt into. I am going to try that at lunch.

Huge thanks to Jookies for taking the time to send some pics and give some info on this. I got it hooked up no thanks to Cobbs instructions. I think it looks good. It is nice and solid. I flashed the AP and will do some light driving and logs before getting on it.

First impression is that it is loud! But it sounds amazing not annoying. Just even light driving feels great so far. Just comparing to the ETS at light driving I can't tell much difference. Only thing is the intake is a little louder and the BOV seems to be louder. Probably because with the ETS try relocate the BOV further away.
I will do some more light logs and then try out some WOT. I am just on stage 1 right now.

Thanks to my vendor Jordan at Defined Performance for the great deal and help as well!

I am in MD...too far. I am glad you were able to install it, unfortunately I don’t think that I can do the same thing in my 2008, I may have to create a small bracket.

Have you tried calling Cobb? Maybe they can offer some advice or send you the right one?
