Did they really just sell you a car with no cat?

 

thanks for the tips trogdor, it was almost fate that the car was modded the exact way I had planned to do. When I first submitted interest in the car, I thought it was completely stock. Then the guy sent me a pic of the engine bay and I got pretty excited.

definitely need to address the stalling issue. I have to feather the gas at stop lights. I can hear a slight whistle, so that HAS to be a vacuum leak, right?

and if it was a leak, I'm thinking it would probably be leaking boost, which may be the culprit for the miss firing on high load... but plugs will be changed asap.

Inspection starts tomorrow. Im thinking its the boost gauge hoses.... everything looks perfectly prepped for anti-leaking. EVERYTHING is zip-tied

 

Got in contact with the previous owner earlier today. Looks like the car got a new transmission 2k miles ago and has a new exedy twin clutch.
