Hey I finally decided to go check out the X! I am somewhat familiar with the X, and I am aware that the transmission can be notch, but I am mainly familiar with the 8/9. The one Im looking at has 30k miles and has the following mods:

What else should I look out for with these types?
Just bring it to a decent shop that know's Evo's and have them look it over. Why would someone want to trade that in with all the money they put into it? Check the car fax as well.
Evo shop is not going to be a possibility. This dealership does deal with a lot of evos, so I can bet their mechanic has gone through it. I going to push for some type of warranty but I'm going to be inspecting this car myself, meticulously.

Hey guys, I just test drove the car and the tune blows, even though it shows having an AMS tune. They swapped the mbc for an ecu controlled one, and the idle is NOT right. It's stalling fairly often, and has trouble idling.
So I think I can just retune it. There's no noises, although it was a little difficult.

Here are some pics. It drives sorta good when it's not breaking up. It feels just like my 8 did when I put autolight plugs in.
They want 26,5. What should I offer?
