Leaning out on hard left turns
Leaning out on hard left turns
Previous owner of my car informed me of a little issue with the fuel and left turns - it leans out if the tank is less than 1/3 full due to the buschur double pumper.
Last night I went through an intersection at mach 1 with over half a tank and got a nasty miss/backfire and a loss of power near the end of the turn initiation. I wasn't looking at my gauge but I am assuming that the problem persisted even at half a tank
This seems to be somewhat of a normal problem, but I can't understand how solutions cannot be readily available. What is everyone doing about this problem? Is it just an issue with the double pumper?

That is fairly common on the X due to the gas tank design. Either buy and install and JDM fuel tank, or install a surge tank.
The surge tank is a better and easier idea for sure.
There are a few options out there for them too..

just stumbled on the surge tank idea. Looks to be the best route...
would that also allow the tank to be run nearly empty? I know there are pickup issues on less than 1/3 of a tank as well just being stationary.
