I don't have an evo with this but noticed two or three evos with no RF sticker or one that was placed in the wrong spot on the dash? Here's one I found still for sale at a dealer..

You can get an Evo without the SSS (Sight, Sound, Spoiler/Sunroof), which means you can get regular headunit or the navigation without the amplifier, and subwoofer set up.

The Evo's with the RF logo have the amp under the driver's seat and sub in the trunk. Here you can see I have the sub, and the RF logo

 

It wasn't a GSR. MR

 

My MR has Spoiler/Prox. key only.

No roof, no RF system (no navi / no harness to amp location either). Weird package right?

yeah, like I said, it's the SSS package. MR/GSR doesn't automatically have the SSS package. for 11 and 12, it's called SSL (Sight, Sound, Sun and Leather) for the GSR since the Spoiler is automatically included. However, the MR's all have leather seats (the suede leather, not top-grain like a GSR with the SL package)

It also depends on year, and if it's US or CA too.

The real curveball on that picture that the OP posted is someone paid the $2000 for the OE Navigation, but didn't get the SSS package. It's the first time I've seen someone pay that much for OE Navi and not just get it all. Bet it was a hard to find MR or a special order one.

 

Just to be clear it isnt a navi just a basic lancer system. I got HIDs, suade/leather recaros, proxy key but no roof and no navi/RF.

It does look on the door, it has the tweeters just no sticker on the dash.

 

Blade, it has the RF look on the door. It just missing the sticker for some reason. It's still for sale the dealer is Kerry Mitsu in OH.
