Evo X Bleeding Without the MUT3 Tool...Ghetto Style...no software, no bull.
Hi,
Ive read that it was "impossible" to bleed the ACD Pump properly without the Freaking MUT3 Tool:
WARNING: Video is NWS due to language.
This is how we do it..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2cccz7GRZk

Did the bleeding yesterday on my EvoX -08. Wasnt any problems to bleed the front part. One person under to open the port, one to turn front wheels and one to keep an eye on the reservoir .
The rear was tricky , we opened the port and turned the wheel but the pump did not react to the "violent" movements we did. ( The fluid that came out was not consistant and in the same phase as when we did the front.
We stopped the bleeding procedure and I called our experts in Sweden when it comes to the Evo model.
I quote "The rear is self "bleeding" so you do not need to do any bleeding on the rear part of the AYC-system". But the front is needed! So my Evo is now good to go !
Thank you for this great thread! It helped me to even get the front part of the AYC-system bleeded! Will give an update after a couple of 100 miles if the light comes back on or if it works properly.
Have a couple of pitchures from the work as well if someone is interested.
Br,
Chris

So, is that for the EVO X USDM VERSION OF THE CAR? So.. what you’re saying is.. that we only need to bleed the ACD BLEEDER VALVE & not the AYC BLEEDER VALVES. That’s with the lines of the AYC/ACD pump being removed of course, bc it self bleeds just to get that straight.
