aftermarket disc player help
Hello everyone. Maybe one of you can point me in the right direction. I have base model non-sss evox (no upgraded sound system), but the car did come with the built in blue-tooth. The volume on radio stations and mp3 player using axillary port works perfect, but when I put in a CD and turn up the volume to 45, sound is only coming out like I would have the knob on 5. The radio was denied warranty for my "mods". I going to save the hassle of trying to argue it. I was wondering if ne1 can recommend a decent aftermarket radio that I can just stick into my car and everything will work ok? A usb slot is preferred
. I have a 2010, so it didn't come with one. I'm just worried that the blue-tooth hardware that came with the car needs to be "re-programmed" to talk to the new radio system to allow syncing functionality or something. Please let me know

Well the thing is I have a few goodies wired into the electrical system. LED interior, jRox harness, radar detector, nonsss to bixenon projectors retrofit. All of these are someway tapped/spliced into the electrical system. Asap they removed the cigarette lighter compartment they called me over and said it was being denied. Also stock radio blows. I was thinking about just doing a new sound system in the future. Gotta start somewhere. Thank you for your input though.
Find yourself a head unit with built-in Blutooth, so you can be assured that it will all work together. You can disconnect the factory module (it is above the glove compartment, below the airbag). You'll also want to get a steering wheel interface that will tie together the radio buttons and the handsfree controls. I had excellent luck with my Pioneer deck and the PAC SWI-PS, and retained all of my steering wheel control functions.
You might want to head down a few groups to the Evo X A/V forum- there's plenty of good reading there. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-security-262/
