Hey guys

I did do a search on this but to no avail...so here it goes...

I'm hoping it's trivial, but my routine maintenance signal came up when I hit about 2500miles...I've been reading that this normally pops up every 3K or so...Am I running my car too hard? and also does this pop up per mileage or does it determine it based on the condition of the oil? (<---wasn't sure how word the latter part of the question, but my wife's '12 Odyssey has a percentage noting oil life...wondering if the evo had the same thing...)

 

You can actually set the intervals when it will come up. It's just a reminder. It will illuminate based on mileage or time. Just reset it and it will start over. It is nothing more than a timer / counter.
