Hell yes it's worth it!! HIDs, fast key system, large spoiler, 6CD changer and the 9 speaker 710 watt system with a subwoofer.
Dude trust me you won't regret that package!!

I got the GSR basic and put the $3k into mods.

I didn't want to put money into a built in navigation GPS because I always use a portable Garmin GPS. Having said that, the stereo feature of the EVO dash navigation system of it is awesome. I do wish I had it. You can put in a CD and it copies it to a hard drive. Visual display, etc...

I've been tempted to upgrade my stereo and get the stock navigation system just for the music features.

The SS package does not come with the Navi... those are two different options.
To the OP yes, the SS (or SSS 08&10 years) is completely worth it IMO. HID's, fast key and the better sound system make the car more livable and feel like it belongs in it's price range. My personal opinion only though.

Congrats and post pics when you get it!

Get the SSS package you won't regret it. The fast key system is legit no need to pull keys out of ur pocket to operate the car. The HIDs they u can position up and down from inside the car is sick.

GET IT!! You'll thank me later

It depends on what you're looking to do with the car. If you plan on just tracking it and such then obviously not worth it. But in my opinion it helps justify the cars price, really makes it feel like it belongs in it's price range like someone mentioned above.

I had the HID lights and stereo when I had my Ralliart. When I got the Evo, I told the dealership that the car had to have the SS package. It's worth it to me.

Absolutely the sss package is legit. I love the headlights and the stereo system is surprisingly good.

And if its a 08 or 10 evo x then u need the bigger spoiler.

IMO its not an evo without the wing

I'm actually happier about getting the Sun and Leather (I have both, SSS and S&L)

FastKey, HIDs, and the RF set up is great, but the leather really dresses up the interior and the sunroof is a really nice feature for cracking open during the day so it doesn't get too hot inside. However, the RF set up is actually not that great in my opinion. When I added an amp an a 10" sub to my stock Scion tC it sounded better. But, the value of having a sub box that fits what little trunk there is, is very nice. Having your sub-box slide around in a trunk is ghetto.

IIRC S&L was like $1600 and SSS was $2200, so it's less too.

It's worth every penny to get the SSS package. I think it's a must for all evo owner unless you are all out race.
