Anyone with no paint problems?
Man, it must hurt to be cosmetically-oriented.
First you go all hella-flush, because that looks good.
But then you discover that lowering the offset of the wheels is the single best way to get chips in the paint (besides driving the car on gravel, of course, but who'd be dumb enough to do that in a rally car?).
I mean, like, what's a dude supposed to do?

Im the second owner but my rear doors towards the bottom are peppered like someone shot it with a shotgun or something. I have no clue how..the car has mudflaps. Any ideas how to prevent it so i can get it fixed and not have a reccuring issue(besides clear bra)?
Let me just say--just because the S-AWC has a gravel mode you should not try to use it.
I have a gravel road behind my house, that takes 10 minutes off my morning commute, and I use it from time to time. Over the weekend I went to go get my car washed and I have a ton of rock chips on both the passenger and drivers side door/rear quarter panel--all from going 30-35 miles an hour.
Kind of disappointed in how thin the paint is and how easily it chips. Looking like I will have to get the rear of the car repainted and put a clear bra on.

60k miles. second owner.
I drive on gravel once or twice a week for around ten twenty minutes.
i've had no problems other than if you count the bottom of the rear doors looking like they've been peppered. but thats going to happen anyway, just faster for me
i do like gravel though

3800 miles 1 rock chip right by the center hood scoop i have clear bra in the front so its awesome ... a simple clay bar takes all the nasty black scuff marks away from my front clear bra from the race track
