been checkin out the ams or ets intercoolers. for the size shape and diameter of both it seems the ams is alot more pricey! is it one of those deals where u get what u pay for? cause the both write ups i see on both sites seem to be pretty good. any got a preference or a why one then the other?

Can't go wrong with either of them but if it was me I'd save some money with ETS. They both do the same thing.

I just got an ETS 4" intercooler. One, I got it because of price. Two, I got the 4" because I plan on doing a build and this will give me enough capacity for the future.

Dang good looking car there. I have a black 4" intercooler as well. Just waiting for my tuner to get an open spot so that I can install all the parts I have and then get it tuned. On my son's 2011 GSR, the intercooler and piping made a huge difference in power.

wow sorry, not only was I off topic, but out of nowhere. not directed at you or anyone else lol, was just in a mood I guess

Back on topic, sort of, I have always like the looks of a big aluminum intercooler up front but the blacked out ETS intercooler looks so good on the X. Is it paint or anodized?

Def leaning towards the ets 4" intercooler+lp kit. i do plan to do many more mods. goal is 400-450 whp. even though i want it all now i really dont want it all now cause wheres the fun in that? ets v2 exhaust/ ets hfc on order as we speak along with ams down pipe. leaving in dec to afghan for 6 months to year. i may stop after the exhuast till i get back or go ahead and get exhaust + intercooler kit before i leave. when i get back upgraded turbo and alll the fun things that go along with it. from what i have researched, installing the cooler could actually cause me to lose torque/hp. anyone care to elabrate further on this? looking for real world experience not what has been just read or heard about from others..and yes i have read the forums on this. dates r a little old on the subject so wanna see if anytings changed.
