Couldn't have said it better myself. I honestly don't know if it's just simply wax that was accidentally sprayed on or if it was over spray from when they did the clear coat. But I feel they should take care of it. And if they use some chemical or somehow screw it up while trying to take it off, then I will pursue them to replace it with another one.

My wife has a Dr's appointment I need to take her to so I will be leaving work early anyways and I have extra time to blow and the shop is on my way so I might as well stop there and get them to take care of it since they did it. I haven't washed my car since I got it back from them. In fact I haven't been driving it either and have been taking the Eclipse lately so I know I didn't do it.

If it doesn't work out you can always take the diffuser off and plasti-dip it or something. Cheaper alternative to having to buy a new one. I think it'll come off if it's just wax deep in the plastic.

It's residue from a wax. APC and a brush removes it. Dressing does not; it temporarily masks it.
