MXP catback install

Hi guys,
I am going to be picking up this exhaust in a couple days and will be installing it with a friend on the weekend. I was wondering if anyone has any experience installing this exhaust and if there is anything to watch out for or if there is anything extra i will need. Sorry for the noob question but I am pretty new to modding cars and I don't want to run into any problems.
Thanks

Never heard of the exhaust, but for the most part the cat-back install i pretty easy and straight forward. As long as the fitment is right there shouldn't be issues. Just don't mess up the rubber hangers.

you remove old exhaust, bolts first, and one piece at a time remove the hangers. Little tip, use wd40 on the hangers and they will slide out a lot easier.

Nice choice of exhaust Ill be getting mine next month.

Straight forward install, but if you're still running the stock catalytic converter, you'll have to modify the heat shield on the cat to fit due to the larger piping/flange of the exhaust. You may experience some rattling if you modify the heat shield.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will be using the stock cat, do you mean just bending the heat shield? or will i need to be cutting part if it off?
thanks

No, you would only need to modify it if you were using a upgraded Cat or test pipe.

So i attempted to install this today and it turns out, you do have to modify the cat converter heat shield. I ended up putting the stock exhaust back on due to the weather turning on me. I was wondering what I can do in terms of modifying the heat shield without causing rattling/vibration. Thanks
