EFI Logics Memorial Track Day - Poconos North
do you know what time the event will start/end? I am coming from NYC and I have work the day beofore/after the event so i just need to plan out my drive...Also, I was told that your not allowed to race on a road course with mud flaps or rain guards. is this true? if so i have no problem removing my mud flaps but i would like to try and keep the rain guards on

The event will begin about 8 am, maybe 8:30 with a drivers meeting and end around 6+ You can expect to be on track starting around 9 and ending at 6 or so. I typically try to arrive around 7:30 or so to get organized, get through tech etc. NASA NE will publish the official schedule next week. Remember, there will be a ton of track time.
Mud flaps and rain guards? I've not seen that rule for HPDE events. You'll be fine as long as they are well attached.

OK, we are getting down to the wire on registration. While we can take registrants up until the day before the event (presuming there's space) we need to confirm as many as possible in the next day or so. Since this is, essentially, a not-for-profit event at $180 for a full track day, we need a minimum number of cars registered very soon. I understand that we are close but, if you are on the fence, this is your chance to get on track. I can promise you will not see this price for a full day at Poconos (or any Northeast track) again. It's a remarkable deal, don't miss out and help us make this memorial event great.

I see these posts requesting advice on how to manage a speeding ticket, what it costs, and how much the lawyer will charge. Seems nuts that we can post up an offer for a track day that will allow you to go as fast as you like, no risk of potholes, etc. and charge Waaaay less than a ticket and lawyer combo if you are caught anywhere near 100 mph.
A track day is the best mod money can buy. You'll be a more skilled driver and really understand how well all those mods work together. Best yet, no risk of a ticket. Funny, I find that the track time takes any interest in speeding right out of me. Once you've tasted it, there's no going back. Trust me on this and, at $180 for the whole day you can't beat the price.
