easing off clutch

Okay idk if this is normal for evos but when I ease off the clutch while in gear my car just starts rolling on its own with no help from the gas pedal... I don't think its a clutch.. I mean if I pop the clutch it stalls. If I shift to a higher gear and wot it it doesn't free rev. When I do it on a up hill it stalls... so I'm just wondering is it normal? Its a 2010 gsr with a Cobb turbo inlet and a SF Cobb intake... thanks!

I'm confused as to why this would be an issue? This is my first manual, so I'm not expert, but doesn't every tutorial/how-to suggest the user to try to get the car moving by slowly releasing clutch with no gas?

Its the "release point" or "friction zone". Its normal. My bike gets up to 10kmh with just easing the clutch out.

Normal. Your engine spinning at idle in gear is what is making you car go and supplying the power to keep it going at a few MPH. Without gas on a hill it stalls because it is not producing enough power to overcome the hill but on a flat surface its plenty.

Think of an automatic when you let off the brake while stopped it starts rolling so no worries.

In a 5 speed its a good excercise to learn how to drive manual.

Perfectly normal. Most DBC cars will keep the IACV open enough to keep it from stalling, thus allowing the car to move. My VW could roll out in 3rd gear with no gas.
